Minimum age: 45 Maximum language class size: 12 Prescore (test yourself now): 20-90 Foreign Languages
INTENSIVE COURSES are designed for those in need of a rapid, intensive and relevant study of a language for a specific reason.
The emphasis in this course is on developing the ability to communicate effectively in a foreign language. Attention is given to grammatical structure as well as the practical communication skills – listening and speaking.
An assessment is made and a language target set before each course commences so that both participant and teacher can work together systematically with a goal in mind.
FLEXIBLE PROGRAMMES are designed for individuals and company–sponsored personnel who wish to study a foreign language intensively over a long period but do not have the time to spend on an all-day course. The one teacher/one student formula means a flexible, well-organised teaching programme that wastes no valuable time.
SPECIAL COURSES AND SERVICES for members of the same company or organisation taught as an autonomous group. The timetable is arranged on a flexible basis according to company requirements. IN-COMPANY TUITION a course plan may be selected for daytime or early evening tuition.
The length and nature of these courses is arranged according to individual company needs. The ultimate objective is established at the outset in collaboration with the relevant department. In this way, motivation is sustained and the student is able to see the relevance of classroom teaching to his/her future. Success is measured in terms of the ability to use language appropriate to situations the student will encounter, rather than in his/her readiness to respond to controlled, classroom drills.COMBINATION Courses
