PLEASE NOTE FOR ANY EMPLOYMENT AT RICHARD LANGUAGE COLLEGE all short-listed applicants for jobs will need to explain any gaps in their CV at the interview. You will also need to bring to the interview your passport to prove you have the right to work in the UK and the originals of your qualifications. Photocopies of these will be taken for our records.

Please provide contact details for at least two referees. References will be taken up and referees will be asked specifically whether they have any reason to doubt your suitability to work with children as at certain times of the year Richard Language College has junior students.

if you have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) certificate which is Enhanced, applies to children and is under 3 years old please bring it to the interview. If your application for the post is successful and you do not have a DBS which meets the requirements, Richard Language College will pay for one on your behalf.

All staff at Richard Language College now have to complete a course in Basic Awareness in Child Protection.

TEFL QUALIFIED TEACHERS REQUIRED

Seasonal and longer term appointments are available for TEFL qualified teachers. Teachers must have a minimum of a CELTA or a Trinity TESOL.

Originals of your identification documents proving you have the right to work in the UK (EU passport), your degree certificate and TEFL qualifications will have to be seen by the Academic Manager.
