Robert
French: Principal |
|
Oxford-educated
Robert originally trained to teach University-Level French, which
he did for 5 years. He has been associated with Richard Language College
for 16 years, 4 of them as Academic Manager (2001-2004), and latterly
as Principal. |

Sean
O'Connor: Academic Manager |
Sean Studied Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching (MA) at the
University of Southampton. Joined RLC in 2003 and is responsible for
Short and Executive Courses. Academic interests include English for
Academic Purposes and the role of computers in language learning. |

Cyril
Leclerc: Marketing Manager, CLAS Coordinator |
|
Cyril
Originally worked in France as an educator in Salesian Secondary Schools,
he studied phylosophy at the Ecole Cathedrale. He has been with RLC
for 9 years, after working as a social organiser for 3 years. Cyril
is currently working in the marketing department with Celina, and
is responsible for running Junior courses during summer. |

Jon
Crocker: Client Services Manager |
Jon has been involved
in EFL since 1992 and has worked both in Spain and the UK. He has
been with RLC since 2003 and is Client Services Manager working in
the Administration department. His main responsibility is dealing
with enrolments. |

Linda
Willard: Assistant Accommodation Officer |
|
Linda is a
graduate in Estate Management and a qualified General Practice Surveyor.
Linda has worked in both London and Bournemouth for property companies
and estate agents. Linda joined the team at RLC in April 2004 in the
accommodation and welfare department. |

Rebecca
Price: Accommodation and Welfare |
Beki is linked
with Richard Language College since 1987. She is currently looking
after our students' welfare and is responsible for liaising with Host
families. Homestay is living with a local family, situated near the
school. You live as part of the family, eat and talk with them and
enjoy all the advantages of being immersed in daily family life. There
will be no other students with your mother tongue.Beki is dealing
with all matters arising from a situation in your family, you can
always speak to her if you don't feel comfortable. |

Celina
Tariya-Curran: Marketing Secretary |
|
A graduate
of BA Business and MA Tourism and Hospitality Management, Celina worked
with Thailands biggest inbound tour operator before joining
RLC in 2004. She specialises in customer relationship management and
is the first point of contact for new enquiries. |

Elaine
Gormley: College Administrator |
Elaine Graduated
from the University of Ulster with BA Hons International Business
Communication. Elaine worked as an Administrator for Derry City Council,
Northern Ireland before joining RLC in 2004. Elaine is currently working
in the Academic Management Office as College Administrator. |

Clive
Jennings: BUPEP Link Tutor
|
|
Clive
graduated as a teacher of English in 1978 and obtained the RSA TEFL
diploma in 1985. He was previously a Director of Studies and joined
Richard Language College in 1999 to concentrate on what he enjoys
most: teaching. He has worked closely with Bournemouth University
to create and develop courses to help students achieve a level of
English suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Jan
Borgen: Comenius Courses |
Jan has been
at Richard Language College since 1990. She has been a teacher trainer
for 15 years and has been recently involved in the development of
teacher refresher courses. Before this new role she was responsible
for running the courses specially designed for Commercial Swiss Schools.
Prior to joining this College she worked in Italy, Spain and North
Africa teaching General and Business English. |

Denise
Judge: Educational Counsellor |
|
Denise has
worked at Richard Language College since 1997. Denise was originally
in charge of the CLAS junior Courses when she joined the team. She
is now responsible for student orientation towards Higher Education.
She helps the students to select universities and complete their applications.
She has wide experience of teaching at all levels including examination
classes. |

Karen
Graham: Swiss Coordinator |
Karen has been
with RLC since June 2004 and is responsible for the direction and
administration of all the Swiss Groups. She has taught mainly General
and Business English in the UK. In 2002 Karen spent a very enjoyable
period teaching English to both adults and children in Sicily. |

Peter
Scott Powell: Private Sudy Centre Supervisor |
|
Peter
has been with RLC for four years and currently has responsibility
for the Private Study Centre and Independant Learning. Having previously
taught at the University of Versailles and IFG Langues in Paris, Peter
also enjoys teaching on the French 'Grandes Ecoles' preparation courses
here at RLC. In his free time, he enjoys taking an active part in
local dramatic and musical productions. |

Joanna
Gedych: Social Organiser |
Joanna
finished university in Poland and obtained a Master's of Marketing.
She worked as a swimming teacher and lifeguard in the Youth Palace,
Warsaw. She has been working for RLC since June 2004. She is responsible
for afternoon and evening activities and Saturday excursions. Joanna
also helps students with organising their free time. |
