erasmus+ EP5 - LEARNING TO LEARN
This course is suitable for teachers who are non-native speakers of English who teach to children in primary or secondary education aged from 4 upwards.
The goals of this course are:
• enable teachers to help young people to become more effective learners
• improve confidence in lesson delivery
• expand the teacher’s range of methodological approaches to enhance practice with students’ independent learning firmly in mind.The intention is to equip those working with children with key language and communication skills appropriate in educational, social and vocational contexts and with the right approach strategies.
The course will develop the participants’ language skills in the mornings as they will join Intensive General English classes. This will help them communicate as well as showing some classroom techniques.
The afternoon ‘L2L Learning to Learn’ sessions will focus on new strategies and skills to build Learning Power and participants will learn how to enable the students to learn more efficiently.

The intention is to improve language teaching practice, presenting various techniques and methodological approaches of teaching English as a foreign language.

This special program concentrates on methodology. It aims to equip non-native teachers in secondary education with ideas and materials which can be used with their own students as well as to give them a chance to exercise and refine their own command of the language. The small size of the group gives participants the opportunity to discuss and exchange experience and ideas with fellow language teachers form other countries.
The Methodology course involves small-group learning for foreign teachers of English wishing to develop their teaching skills.

This course is aimed at providing non-native speakers of English with insights into their own and colleagues’ teaching practice in a pan-European context.
